The way VOYDCUTTR works is by manipulating the spectrum by combining it with different "forms". These dictate the filter shape applied to the spectrum. Let's take a look at some of them!

Phaser

A ridiculously customizable spectral phaser that allows you to import custom shapes in the form of wavetables, or hand draw your own phaser shapes! This form can also act like a normal spectral EQ if you turn the width all the way down and set the movement and offset both to 0.

Width - Changes the width of the phaser shapes

Movement - Changes the direction in which the phaser moves

Offset - Adjust the phase of the phaser while it's not moving

Wavetable position - In wavetable mode, change the position of the wavetable

Filtable

You can make the filter be shaped like the spectrum of a waveform, inspired by Kilohearts Filtertable. Create unique tones by sculpting your sound with dynamically changing waves.

Frequency - Changes the frequency at which the wavetable oscillates at

Wavetable position - self explanatory

Vocoder

Use the spectrum of a carrier signal as a filter shape, allowing you to mix two sounds together with high precision. Useful for experimental color bass and unique vocal effects!

Modulator gain - Boosts the gain of the modulator signal

Gate - Applies a spectral gate to the modulator signal

Attack - Adjusts the attack time of the modulator signal

Release - Adjusts the release time of the modulator signal

Introducing: The Spectraler Gate™️(AKA The Spectral Spectral Gate)

A typical spectral gate uses a threshold to determine which frequencies should pass through. But what if each bin could have its own threshold? That's what I've done here, and gate mode works with all of the above forms! As far as I'm aware, VOYDCUTTR is one of only two spectral gate plugins on the entire internet that can actually do this, but it's the only one that's free ^(oo)^
